"Amy's Kitchen"

We started in 1988 by cooking Vegetable Pot Pie. We now sell over 20 million meals this year. But we're still a family business, preparing our food in our own plant with the same loving care and attention we used when we started the comapny.

And of course we still have the same commitment to using natural and organic ingredients and creating great tasting vegetarian meals at affordable prices.

What Chicken Should Be

In the world of chicken, there's one that stands out above all the rest! Our Rocky Chickens are the most tender, juicy, succulent, flaborful chickens you can get. We think their superior flavor is due to their vegetarian diet and stress-free living conditions.

Absolutely Unrivaled Flavor

Whatever the reason, you'll notice the differenc right away. The test is in the taste!

OUR USDA LABEL AND QUALITY CONTROL

The Rocky Chicken program is approved by the USDA for label claims, and Petaluma Poultry Processors uses a strict USDA Qualaity Control Program. All company records pertaining to growing procedures, feed and processing are available for USDA Inspection upon request. USDA Inspection teams have audited our growing program to verify our procedures, and we have passed each inspection with great success.

(Notes from the Editor: March 1999)

An exciting news of the USDA announcement on organic meat label in January did require quite a hustle to gather more of informative comments and data on the issue. It must be made in a timely fashion, and the magic of "Internet" has helped me to do the job whilst, quite contrary, the month of February was relatively quiet and the editor took a rest hence.

The Petaluma chickens have received a great reputation in Japan now with its superb quality and delicious taste. All the chefs, without exception, once they cooked this meat and served to dining guests especially Rosie, they just simply stay. No other chicken meats may attract them anymore.

This is what an idea of "Petaluma Restaurant Guide in Tokyo" comes from. We start to collect such information on how Petaluma Chickens are served at which restaurants in Tokyo. Although it is a trial effort yet. but we hope that it may help Petaluma products better introduced in Japan.

Although it is under samples testing in Japan market yet, we have focused the 10-years old young lady, Ms. Amy Berliner, or the Amy's Kitchen, in this issue. The growth of this foods in the past 10 years in the U.S. is amazing. After the samplings are done, MLT will try to deliver this beautiful produtcs in Japan.

MLT continues its efforts to keep updates on relative business information about the industry and hopes to bring readers with more valuable and interesting information. We target all our time and effort to "organic" foods so as to keep our eyes on "healthiness, freshness, cleanness" of our quality life today. And we always appreciate your support and welcome your comments and suggestions, thank you.
